“Omori-Lodge” Vanguard of Community Rent, and “Tagui-Shokudo”

I went to “Omori-Lodge” which is a housing estate made of renovated old wooden houses of Showa. (FYI, a landlord calls this area the project of rebirthing street corner.)

I've been interested in this housing estate since I saw it on the netnews. And, it was quite interesting as expected.

According to some articles, “Omori-Lodge” is a vanguard of community rent. Community rent means leasehold property which has natural communication between residents. Actually, it may not be an exact definition though.

After all, we can't avoid communication with neighborhood even if we live in city area, so we might as well communicate with people who have same interests if we must contact with neighbors. I guess that the idea of community rent is based on those our feelings.

I got interested in the idea as one of new lifestyles.

By the way, there is my friend's eatery named “Tagui-Shokudo” in Omori-Lodge. Of course, each of dishes are tasty, and steamed rice by Hagama, Japanese old style rice cooker, especially tastes wonderful. The restaurant is a 3-minute walk from Omorimachi Station which is along the Keikyu Main Line. If you are interested in the diner, please go there.
